Ahsoka season 2 has officially been confirmed by Lucasfilm. The confirmation was featured in a sentence alongside the announcement of The Mandalorian movie. Season 2 is currently under development by Dave Filoni, Ahsoka Tano’s co-creator.
The news of season 2 was overshadowed by The Mandalorian movie announcement. You can find the blog post here, but you’ll need to scroll to the bottom and look for the last sentence.
It appears that Lucasfilm is far more excited about the movie than Ahsoka season 2.
Nevertheless, fans can rest easy knowing that the cliffhangers of season 1 will be answered and explored further. Season 1 started to scratch the surface of Star Wars lore, so it will be exciting to see more of the mysterious planet.
There is no date for season 2 yet. Depending on how much the two shows tie into each other, it will most likely come out sometime in 2025, after the production for The Mandalorian movie finishes.
