The Disney+ hit show, The Mandalorian, has had a very successful 3 season run. Both Din Djarin and Grogu have taken fans by storm, and they can’t get enough of them. Unfortunately, the end of their story may be coming sooner than we hoped in The Mandalorian season 4.

The story of Djarin is what kicked off not only a new era of Star Wars but the entire Disney+ streaming service. Season 1 had brought in millions of subscribers and offered a hopeful future for the franchise. The other shows created to fill the service have done well, but nothing has compared to the success of The Mandalorian.

Albeit not as successful, they have contributed to creating overlapping stories, a larger universe, something that is similar to the MCU. This web of stories has set up a few possibilities, especially after the newest series, Ahsoka

The Mandalorian Season 4

There are a few different routes that season 4 can take.

The first is that Din Djarin has completed his quest. He saved the Child and is halfway to reestablishing Mandalore and the once-great society. The darksaber has put him in a great position to lead the others and bring them back to their planet.

The issue of the Mandalorians is the constant inner wars that have plagued them for centuries. After being so lost and scattered and facing almost complete destruction from the Empire, they may have realized their greatest weakness. This gives potential hope that they may finally unite peacefully to restore their civilization.

Bo Katan, Grogu, Din Djarin

If this is the case, Djarin could hand the darksaber and the crown to Bo-Katan, the heiress to the throne. Mandalorian law requires that she win the saber in battle, but at this point, she may be open to taking it.

Other Options

Second, The Mandalorian season 4 may collide with the issues that Ahsoka is having, and she, Sabine, and Ezra may join forces with The Mandalorians. In a Seige for Mandalore part 2, they could fight Thrawn and his army of Stormtroopers, Nightsisters, and zombies.

Ahsoka season one ran during and after The Mandalorian season 3. Their paths have intertwined before, and with Grogu’s connection with the Force and Ahsoka, they may cross paths again. Djarin may help to retrieve his Jedi friends through the help of Purgil, space maps, or something new.

Lastly, The Mandalorian season 4 could have Djarin the role of rebuilding Mandalore, keeping Djarin in a similar position that we last saw him. As a potential leader for the Mandalorians, he could fight off pirates, monsters, and more Imperial Warlords to take back Mandalore and rebuild.

Djarin may call on Boba Fett to return and help, offering him the title of a Mandalorian. Or Luke may return to help Grogu and his friends again.

There are many different possibilities for The Mandalorian season 4. The writer’s and actor’s strike had halted production, but expect the next season sometime in late 2024.
