The hit animated series, The Bad Batch, returns for season 2. The trailer gives us insight into what we can expect for season 2; there will be new planets, more adventures, and heists. The gang will try to evade the Empire and make their way through the Galaxy. The new season will officially return on January 4, 2023, only on Disney+. 

The trailer for season 2 starts on a tropical island with the bad batch running down the beach, trying to get away from angry giant crabs. Their jobs will certainly get them into a lot of trouble this new season. It looks like plenty of old friends will return, and even a Force-sensitive Wookiee. The missions they’ll be doing with Rex will help people, while the jobs they pull off for Cid, their crime boss, will offer a chance to set someone free. 

It looks like some critical choices will be made in season 2 of The Bad Batch. Tensions will rise, the Empire will spread, and people will suffer. It will be up to the bad batch to help make a difference in the Galaxy. The cross between these men being heroes and criminals is an interesting idea, but one that is familiar with the Star Wars franchise.
