Ewan McGregor got the cover of this week’s issue, and he is sporting his classic Kenobi beard with that beautiful blue lightsaber. His costume design looks a little less Jedi and more Tatooine peasant.

“They share a common dark-side goal,” Ingram says about the villainous trio of Reva, the Grand Inquisitor, and Darth Vader. “They’re on the same team.” As for what stands out most to Ingram about her big bad: “It’s all heart.”

These stills look very promising. The anticipation for this show has been insane, and it appears like it is in good hands because the directors and writers for Kenobi now have some live-action experience, thanks to The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. McGregor and Christensen are at the heart of this series, so it will be exciting to watch them tap into their old characters from over a decade ago.
