Disney is creating an insane amount of Star Wars content to fill their streaming service. One of the new shows planned to come out is The Book of Boba Fett, a series that will go into the life of Boba after he took over Jabba the Hutt’s Palace. The series is said to also dive into how he escaped from the Sarlacc pit, so there will be the occasional flashback to Boba Fett’s past.

As the show dives into Boba’s past and present, it opens the door for the opportunities the writers could take by allowing for more events, eras, and characters to be featured in the series. With Dave Filoni as one of the producers, there is a solid chance that some of his characters from The Clone Wars could appear.

A rumor from LRM says that Cad Bane will make his live-action appearance in the upcoming Book of Boba Fett

Cad Bane

Cad Bane and Boba Fett both have a history with each other; as seen in The Clone Wars, Cad Bane was a pivotal figure in Boba’s journey in becoming one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy. There was some unused animation from The Clone Wars that showed a duel between Bane and Boba Fett. There, Bane gave Boba his signature dent in the helmet, while Boba finished off Cad Bane once and for all. But, that all changed when Cad Bane had made a surprise return in The Bad Batch

Now that he is alive, there is a very good chance that he could be included in the story for Boba Fett, whether it be through a flashback or in the present. Cad Bane also has a history with Boba Fett’s new partner, Fennec Shand. Their entanglement was a part of his return in The Bad Batch. In The Bad Batch, Fennec Shand was only a young bounty hunter trying to rise in the ranks, but now, she is a notorious figure who has a legendary shot. Though it has been years since their fight, he could be out for revenge. The supposed falling out between Boba Fett and Cad Bane could appear in a flashback or through his return in Boba’s present state of ruling Jabba the Hutt’s palace.

Before The Bad Batch, we hadn’t seen Cad Bane since before season 4 of The Clone Wars. In only three seasons, he had solidified himself as one of the most dangerous people in the galaxy. If he were to make his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett, he could appear as friend or foe. Whichever it may be, he will certainly be welcomed by fans.
