Well, as the title says, this is only a rumor. The Mandalorian is an absolute success, there is no doubt about that. Seasons 3 and 4 are already expected by fans. Realistically, The Mandalorian is one of the best things to happen to Star Wars, so a spin-off show seems only natural.
Who wouldn’t want to get a glimpse into Boba Fett’s escape story? C-3PO was very thorough when explaining what the Sarlacc pit can do to a man and when we all saw Boba Fett roll into the pit, we assumed the worst. But, as season 2 confirmed Boba Fett’s survival, we are all dying to know how he got out and how he lost his armor. I mean, it’s his identity.
The Boba Fett series would most likely be similar to The Kenobi Series in the sense that it would be only a season long. A nice-mini series that shows how Boba Fett made his escape and how he’s been surviving in the Dune Sea would be a great experience.
I would love to see the mystery of where his ship is, too. I feel it is safe to assume that he has something programmed into his gauntlets that lets him into his ship and so without the armor there is no way for him to get in. The armor and the ship are what defined Boba Fett. I wonder if Mando will find it along the way.
