Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has officially dropped a full-length trailer. The last one we received was back in May, but it was only a teaser. This full-length trailer premiered at the 2022 Game Awards. A fitting way to release a trailer for one of the most highly anticipated games of 2023.
The absolute success of the 2019 release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order left fans eager to play more. The gameplay and lightsaber combat was out of this world. Fighting the stormtroopers, droids, and everything else was always exciting. It looks like the 2023 sequel to the game will feature something similar.
What to Expect for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
This new adventure will explore Cal and his relationship with the Force. He’s aged a bit in the trailer, as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will pick up 5 years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal will need to travel the Galaxy and build relationships to become more in tune with his abilities.
There will be plenty of enemies to fight, new creatures, beasts, stronger droids and bounty hunters. The game looks like it will be an overall fun chance to explore the Star Wars Galaxy.
It’s a dangerous time to be a Jedi in the Galaxy, the Empire is growing each day, and Cal must be careful with who he can trust. Any remaining Force sensitives are being hunted down and killed. The Emperor does not want any competition on his path to domination. It looks like Cal will have his friends on the Mantis to help with his adventures across the Galaxy.
Steam had accidentally posted the release date for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as March 15, 2023, but that was a mistake and the official trailer shows March 17, 2023. There was also DLC content information that you can check out here.
