National Star Wars Day will be full of new Star Wars content thanks to Disney. I’m sure by this point in quarantine all of us have finished watching all our favorite shows, plus just about everything else available to stream. We’ve been looking forward to the new episodes of The Clone Wars every Friday, but for the finale, we won’t have to wait an entire week.

The Clone Wars Finale

The Clone Wars finale will appear on Disney+ on Monday, May 4th. Only a few days after the Friday release of the next episode, we will finally see the conclusion of The Clone Wars after years of waiting.

These last two episodes have been extremely exciting and have given us a first-hand view of the Siege of Mandalore, which happens simultaneously to the events of Episode III. The Siege of Mandalore, the capture of Maul, and the death of Dooku and Grievous are lining up to the inevitable fate that Anakin must face.

Ahsoka has grown up tremendously in her time away from the Jedi and has proven herself true warrior fighting and defeating Maul. She is getting close to uncovering the mystery surrounding the identity of Darth Sidious. Now that she is back in close contact with the Jedi and around Clones, it will be interesting to see Ahsoka escape Order 66.

The technology that is behind Baby Yoda, the Razor Crest, and everything else in the show will be revealed through this series that premieres on Disney+ May 4th. The episodes will release weekly, similar to how the show released.

The show will feature interviews, roundtable discussions hosted by Favreau, and unseen footage. They will give us insight on how they were able to bring each character to life, as well as the creatures both familiar and new to the Star Wars. It will also show the artwork behind the creation of the show, something we all enjoy watching at the end of each episode.

The Rise of Skywalker

The conclusion to the Skywalker Saga will be released on Disney+ May 4th, as well. The DVD released early to help us stay entertained in quarantine, but now the movie will be available to Disney+ members.

This is exciting news, as many of us have been waiting for it to release on Disney+ since seeing it in theaters. Finally, it is going to be available to stream. The movie has caused some controversy, but at least we will enjoy a nice at-home viewing.

I have spoken

May the 4th will be an exciting day for Star Wars fans. We will have plenty of things to watch that day. The past few Clone Wars episodes have not disappointed and I am confident the conclusion will be epic.

We will finally get our Baby Yoda fix until October and see how the adorable creature was made. The behind the scenes will show how the first ever live-action Star Wars TV show was made and give insight to the technology and artistry behind the show.

Finally, the Saga will complete of Disney+ and The Rise of Skywalker will be available. All 9 movies will finally be available to watch. Start the binge now and you’ll be ready for May 4th.

All that remains missing from Disney+ is Solo, but it will be available by July 9th, 2020. Season 2 of The Mandalorian will premiere in October and the Cassian Andor Series will begin filming soon. The Kenobi series is also in motion and we can expect that 2022.

Thank you for reading and May the 4th be with you.
