Star Wars: The High Republic will leap from the pages this Fall as the brand-new Legacy lightsaber. The novel and comic series Star Wars: The High Republic will join the lineup of Legacy lightsabers as an exclusive limited to 5,000.

Modeled after Stellan Gios’ beautiful hilt, it looks exactly like what you’d expect a hilt to look like from an era called “The High Republic.” The gold details, the sharp designs, and the crossbar all boast the Jedi at their height and the sort of luxuries available.

Lucasfilm Publishing hosted a booth at the New York Comic Con and announced the new Legacy lightsaber Sunday.

The hilt will be available on shopDisney and at the parks. With such a limited run, fans can expect a challenge to acquire a beautiful Legacy lightsaber. The limited number run will come in the wooden box that has been seen before. Of course, this edition will have High Republic designs and markings all over the Legacy edition box.

This Legacy lightsaber reveal was timed perfectly for the launch of Phase III, which has just started. Shadows of the Starlight #1 is the first of the new comics for this phase, and the adult novel, The Eye of Darkness, will be released on November 14th.

Ahsoka has ended, but that first season was a success
