There has yet to be an official announcement, but Steam has posted the release date for the sequel to “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.” The hit game has pulled in over 20 million players from across the globe. Respawn had outdone themselves with this title. The story of Cal Kestis, a young surviving Jedi, had taken the world by storm. He and the rest of the Mantis crew had accomplished a lot, but there is still much to do.
The graphics for “Fallen Order” were exceptional, the gameplay was even better, and the storyline sucked players into it. The final stand-off between Cal and Vader was exhilarating. The overall ratings for the game are better than anyone had anticipated. 2019 was a fantastic year for Respawn and the crew that developed “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Date
A few years later, fans can now expect “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” on March 15, 2023. The game has only been confirmed for 2023, so this is the first date we’ve received. As quickly as the date appeared, it disappeared. Steam had removed the date from the listing. Steam is an official platform and distribution service, so it is unlikely they would get the date wrong.
Variety has also reported that the game will debut the trailer at the anticipated Game Awards on Thursday, December 8.
Although Steam was fast to delete the date, the internet remains faster. A Twitter user was able to get a screenshot of the date, as well as DLC content that has also been removed.
The now-delisted DLC includes cosmetics based on Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Scoundrel costume for Cal, Rugged PD-1 costume, and DL-44 blaster set alongside the Rebel Hero costume for Cal, BD-Astro BD-1 costume, and Rebel Hero lightsaber set.
The preorder bonuses include the Obi-Wan Kenobi-themed Hermit costume, Hermit lightsaber set, and combustion blaster set. I may have to preorder this game simply for that Kenobi lightsaber hilt.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Teased
An interesting thing about this date is Electronic Arts has already teased that a major game would release before April 2023. The March 15, 2023 date would fit that teaser. The success of Jedi: Fallen Order would certainly mean that Jedi: Survivor fits the description of a “major title.” That, and the fact it’s Star Wars.

Variety has reported that the game will debut the trailer at the anticipated Game Awards on Thursday, December 8.
“I don’t want to spoil too many details ahead of the show, but I can say that it will be the first time that Respawn will be showing the game in action to the world, so fans have a lot to look forward to. We’ve been working with Respawn and EA on this moment for the better part of six months.”

I Have Spoken
The game will pick up 5 years after “Jedi: Fallen Order.” Cal will need to find friends across the Galaxy to help him reconnect with the Force. The weight of being alone in the Galaxy will begin to affect him, but at least he will still have his companion droid, BD-1, to accompany him.
Hold out a few more days until December 8th to see the trailer for “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.” An official release may accompany the trailer. Until then, the March 15, 2023 date remains unconfirmed.
