Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is only a month away. Fans have been dying to get their hands on this game ever since it was announced in 2019. With so many delays, teases, and everything that has gone on these past few years, fans were very relieved to hear that the game went gold. Now, we are getting details about the DLC packs to expect once the game is released.
The first two DLCs to look at are The Mandalorian Season 1 and the Solo: A Star Wars Story Character Packs. The two packs will be available as part of the Character Collection or the standalone purchase. The Mandalorian Season 1 comes with the Mandalorian (Din Djarin) and non-playable Grogu, Greef Karga, Cara Dune, IG-11, and Kuiil. It comes across that Grogu will be non-playable and will follow Djarin wherever he goes (seems fitting). The Solo: A Star Wars Story character pack will include young Han Solo, young Chewbacca, young Lando Calrissian, Qi’ra, Tobias Beckett, and Enfys Nest.
Fans of the OT don’t need to worry because there will also be The Classic Characters and The Trooper Pack upon release. The Classic Characters Pack has Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Lando Calrissian. The Trooper Pack features Death Trooper, Incinerator Trooper, Range Trooper, Imperial Shore Trooper, and Mimban Stormtrooper.
The Classic Character Pack is included with those who preordered the game from retailers, after the initial release, that pack will be available to everyone on April 19th. The Trooper Pack will be available for those who preordered the digital version of the game. Those who did not preorder the digital version can expect the Trooper Pack on May 4th.
Along with the Classic Character Pack public release on April 19th, fans can expect to see a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Character Pack. That DLC will include Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbu, and Director Krennic.
The last packs to look at will release for Star Wars Day on May 4, where fans can expect The Mandalorian Season 2 and Star Wars: The Bad Batch Character Packs. The Mandalorian Season 2 Character Pack contains Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand, and Moff Gideon. Star Wars: The Bad Batch Character Pack has Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo.
It looks like there will be plenty to add-on to the games. Unfortunately, gone are the days when we simply unlocked all the characters through playing the game. But, fans can look forward to jumping into any part of the films and playing in any era they choose, so the character packs will allow the imagination to flow.
Fans can also unlock ships to play in the game using codes given through physical LEGO sets. What are your thoughts about the DLCs? Are you surprised to hear about how many there are? DId you expect more or less? Comment down below or on the Facebook page!
