The Mandalorian Season 2 Trailer

This is where the fun begins. The moment that we have been waiting all summer for is finally here, the epic trailer to the second season of The Mandalorian has finally released and it is better than I imagined.

Season 2 looks like it will explore a lot more of the Star Wars universe, giving us insight into what we can expect to see. There are going to be some ports, some Star Wars wrestling, and talk of sorcerers, or our beloved Jedi. It looks like it will introduce some cities that we have never seen and some great new planets to bring to life.

The opening scene sets the tone for what we can expect in this season, we get the idea that they are still on the run and hiding from the Empire, or what’s left of it. It looks like there are a few options that they will have so I am eager to see what Mando will do with the Child. Mando’s ship has taken a beating, so I am very curious if he got into a dogfight or some Jawa’s tried stealing some more parts.

There is a scene of Mando being chased by New Republic X-Wings and so that will be very interesting to see what happens. Who did Mando piss off today?

One of the locations, judging by the number of Quarren walking around, looks like Mando is in a port on Mon Calamari. The dramatic tone of the trailer gives the idea that he’s being followed, but we don’t get that clear of a shot of who it may be.

Season 2 looks like it is full of action, adventure, mystery, and more. It seems like in season 2 Mando will get closer to finding the Child’s home, but his bond will grow even more.

We didn’t see Ahsoka or Sabine Wren, but there was a figure who was watching Mando and the child and it had cut to her as the Armorer said “Jedi”. We didn’t get a closeup, but it did look like Rosario Dawson, who is rumored to play Ahsoka Tano, she just didn’t have her signature facial design. But it could have also of been Sasha Banks who is rumored to play Sabine Wren.

Sasha Banks quoted the new trailer on Twitter with the caption “This is the way” and so I think that is our best clue.

There’s another story style trailer out for Squadrons alsp. Might want to report on it as well before somebody else does. 😉

The X-Wings: Logic would dictate that they know about the Child and are trying to get him(?) away from the ‘evil’ Mandalorian. EIther that or his rep for working with Gangsters and the Empire is just catching up with him. Not like the Republic needs much reason though. Mandos have been Sith hunting dogs since Revan’s time. Safe to assume if Ahsoka is going to be tagging along for a bit that it will be put to rest fairly quickly however..
