The Skywalker Saga, every Star Wars episode from one to nine will be featured in the newest LEGO Star Wars video game coming out in December. There will be no content featuring Solo or Rogue One. The game is also promising to not include microtransactions, which will be a refreshing feature considering so many video games require that.
The lack of microtransactions will be made up in LEGO’s new method of buying sets to unlock them in gameplay. The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest will be a playable ship in the game once the player purchases the physical LEGO set. The set will release September 1st, 2020 and will feature a “key” to unlock the ship in the game.
Knowing that the Razor Crest set comes with Din Djarin, The Child, IG-11, Greef Karga, and a Scout Trooper and once purchased, it will be a playable ship in the game, it seems safe to assume that they will all be playable characters within the game. The complete saga will more than likely feature characters from outside the movies to be played even though it will not feature specific levels for those movies or shows.
The playable characters have not been confirmed, but if you look on LEGO’s website, you’ll find the Razor Crest available for pre-order. The game looks like it has some potential to be a really enjoyable addition to the Star Wars video game collection. Hopefully, they don’t try and make us buy too many physical sets for playable ships in the game.
