The Mandalorian is a fan favorite on Disney+ and I know I can’t wait for the premiere of season 2. We’re all dying to know what Baby Yoda is up to and how Djarin will avoid the Empire in the next season. It looks as though he won’t have to do it alone, as our Jawa sources hear there will be some much-needed help.

According to Slash Film, Rosario Dawson will be bringing Ahsoka Tano to the live screen and The Mandalorian. Ahsoka Tano is a favorite amongst Clone Wars and Rebels fans and she has proven to be an interesting character to follow. The ex-Jedi Padawan to Anakin Skywalker will make her first live appearance. It looks like Djarin and Baby Yoda will have some nice protection from the darksaber that Gideon has.

Rosario Dawson as the Jedi Ahsoka Tano in the next season of the Mandalorian

She is a character created by the Star Wars legend, Dave Filoni, so it makes sense why he would bring her onto his show. He created an amazing character that stood up for what’s right. She had many triumphant moments in The Clone Wars and we hope to see more in The Mandalorian

It looks like Baby Yoda will have a mentor to teach him the ways of the force and how to control his abilities. Ahsoka, who left the Jedi Order, probably won’t follow all the guidelines she used to be required to and will help reform the Jedi Order, along with Baby Yoda, into something that has evolved from what it once was. But, that’s speculation for now and we’ll have to wait for October to see what is in store for season 2.

Rosario Dawson reported tp been the next season of The Mandalorian.

What do you guys think is going to happen in the next season? Thank you for reading and may the force be with you.

  1. This is epicly cool just because it means Ahsoka survived her encounter with Vader in Rebels. I really didn’t like that they seemed to opt to take her out that way. Granted it was only implied but…

Either way, it looks like we’re getting our Jedi and Mando team up we discussed last time. 😀

    1. I know it will be really exciting to see her live action. I heard somewhere she’ll only be a side character and only be there for an episode or two to help with the journey. So it looks like he’s going to use her to search for the child’s people.

And I know! *insert look at us, who woulda thought meme*. We seem to be on it.

      1. Well, Jedi omniscience is one of my better powers, ROFL.

You know how these “it was only supposed to be a one episode shot” things go too. Ahsoka is CRAZY popular among old and new fans alike. I bet she gets a larger role as things progress unless Rosario Dawson just really doesn’t want the role long term. Some actors do think the only REAL work is big screen movies after all. I guess we’ll see how it pans out. 😀

        1. Good point, especially considering it’s not even a network television program and is only for streaming. Either way, Disney $$$ must be too good to turn down so I’m sure she’ll stick around if the fans love her as much as we expect them to haha

          1. Streaming and Cable have both gotten increased credibility as “legitimate” outlets the last few years. Don’t get me started on Disney and the way they’re gobbling up the entire entertainment world though, LOL

Actually, the one trick I think writers MAY have a hard time with is making sure Ahsoka doesn’t upstage our favorite Mando. She’s got to be considered Master level by this point, and has been able to hold her own against Vader. Worst case scenario, maybe she gets spun off into her own show. Wouldn’t THAT be horrible? LOL.

Dang, now that we know she’s still around, I’d REALLY love to see a meeting between her and Luke too. Wouldn’t that be priceless? 😀

  3. […] There has been confirmation that we will see lightsaber combat in the second season of The Mandalorian. It looks like Gideon will have an opponent to fight one on one with, but his training will not be nearly good enough to hold up against someone like Ahsoka, who is rumored to be in the next season.
