Cameron Monaghan, the actor who portrays Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, has shared interest in his character joining the live-action line-up. Star Wars has grown immensely due to Disney+ and the need to create content. Many beloved characters from the past have joined the live-action shows, so it would make sense that Cal Kestis could make an appearance.
In a recent interview with Screenrant about the indie thriller Paradise Highway, he had teased interest in him joining the Disney+ Star Wars cast. Naturally, he can’t say too much, but what he shared seems to hint toward a possible transition. When asked about the possibility of him appearing, this was his response:
Well, of course there’s interest. That’s all I can say.
Although it might not seem like much, this confirms that there is talk about Cal Kestis joining live-action Star Wars. His game, Jedi: Fallen Order, had an extremely successful run with over ten million units sold worldwide. It had fantastic reception by fans, and the characters fit into the universe perfectly.
Having a character directly designed after an actor gives the franchise the freedom and ease to bring him into live-action. His character has been favored by fans, so a live-action appearance would be well received, and as many movies and shows have shown, video games have had a successful run in transitioning over.

With Kenobi recently bringing the Inquisitors to live-action, Disney may keep expanding the list. The anticipated Ahsoka Tano show could write him into the live-action universe. He could tie into her adventures as he travels the Galaxy with the Mantis crew looking to save Force-sensitives from the Empire.
He and Ahsoka could talk about how they both faced Vader and lived. He will return to the video game consoles in March 2023 in Jedi: Survivor. The game is reportedly set during the time of Kenobi, so we may see more of those Inquisitors.
