There is a leaked scene from The Mandalorian spin-off show, The Book of Boba Fett. The show will premiere on Disney+ on December 29th, and judging from this leak, there may be a lot to look forward to see.

The show will star Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand. The season finale of The Mandalorian had teased the show and brought us back to a familiar location, one that had not been seen since Return of the Jedi

The rumor comes from StarWarsNews.net, and according to them, it is from a very reliable source. Please keep in mind that this leaked image is concept art created from the description and has not been confirmed by Lucasfilm or Disney.

THE POST MAY CONTAIN POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT, SO PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
Boba Fett in The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian had delivered with some frightening creatures from around the galaxy. There were massive Mudhorns, Ravinaks, Krayt Dragons, and more featured in Din Djarin’s journey. The team for Book of Boba Fett appears to keep that same spirit alive.

The person who leaked the information to StarWarsNews.net described a scene in detail:

“In the scene, Boba Fett will be encountering and quite possibly taming/controlling a rancor. I am not completely positive on whether Fett is fighting the beast or controlling it, but Fett is standing on the back of the Rancor’s neck and looks like he’s riding and controlling it, as it tears through a complex/city street on what is likely Tatooine.”

The site had consulted with a separate source who confirmed the scene is indeed in the series. And with that, two sources have confirmed the appearance of a rancor in the series. Boba Fett pinned against a rancor will be an epic battle to see.

From the description given, the team at StarWarsNews.net had created an image of their own. One thing to note is that this rancor is much lighter in color than the one Luke encountered in Return of the Jedi. Will this one be Malakili’s pets?

The show will premiere on December 29th. Boba Fett will return to most likely seek revenge on those who did him wrong. Bib Fortuna would be the first victim and certainly not the last because Boba Fett and Fennec Shand are a deadly duo.

There have been reports that the show will more than deliver and that The Mandalorian is nothing compared to what this show will have in store. Director for The Mandalorian, Robert Rodriguez shared:

“Yeah, I can’t say anything about that, sworn to silence. I can say I’m working on it and I can tell you it’s gonna blow your mind. You saw him arrive in my episode of The Mandalorian, that was nothing. That was nothing. I can talk it up all I want because I know it’s gonna deliver, I know it’s gonna over-deliver.”

It seems that Star Wars is getting bigger and better under Favreau and Filoni’s supervision. The Mandalorian has already set the bar high, so it will be exciting to see how they have. What a great time to be a fan.

What do you think about this leak? It seems to follow a similar theme of beasts. We have seen them in not only The Mandalorian but the other Star Wars films. There is always a bigger fish, right? Comment your thoughts down below or on the Facebook page.

  2. […] Will Boba allow the captains and other gangsters to speak freely? Or will he use Jabba’s traps and monsters to help enforce his authority? A recent leak suggests that the show will incorporate some big, bad beasts. You can read about that here. […]
