Target is getting some new exclusives that are from the 1985 animated show Star Wars: Droids. The figures to be released are Boba Fett in Black Series and Vintage Collection and C-3PO and R2-D2 in Vintage Collection. All of the figures will be in the color style of the show and will resemble the original figures released by Kenner for the cartoon.
The figures look like they will be an updated version, with more joints to offer a larger range of motion, unlike the Retro Collection. The Vintage Collection figures will come with a cardback that resembles the original Kenner style and will also feature a “collector’s coin,” another staple to the original Kenner line.
