Finally, some big news has been released regarding the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Disney has officially released the cast for the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series and it looks like they have taken their time picking who they want. Production is expected to begin soon and with the cast that they have lined up, we can expect a really fantastic new series.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series will be about Obi-Wan Kenobi as he watches over Luke Skywalker on Tatooine and tries to survive in the harsh environment in seclusion. There are plenty of questions that fans are eager to have answered and it looks like this show is going to try and answer as many as possible.

Shooting will begin in April and will be directed by Deborah Chow, who had directed two critically acclaimed episodes of The Mandalorian. Obi-Wan Kenobi is executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and writer Joby Harold. It is safe to say that this show is in good hands.
Another exciting thing to look forward to is Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader. I am hoping we get parallels to what Vader is doing in the galaxy, whether it be looking for Kenobi, other Jedi, or simply helping take over planets and expanding the Empire. No matter what we see, flashbacks or parallels, Obi-Wan Kenobi looks like a promising series.
