But, there was a recent tweet sent out by Geoff Keighley, he said that we can expect to see the gameplay world premiere of LEGO Star Wars during the Gamescom event at 8 PM CEST / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT.

Finally, some solid news regarding the game. Now, we can look forward to seeing what we can really expect when the game is finally ready to drop. With a little luck, we will finally get an official release date and not one that was shortly deleted and removed. There is a lot to look forward to in this game and from the looks of it, fans are dying for a taste.

The passwords will be universal, too. So we don’t actually have to go out and get the physical lego set to unlock some sweet rides and characters. The game is set to have a massive selection of characters and this will be a great way to interact and play as just about any character from the entire Saga.

What are you most excited to see? Who will be your favorite character to unlock? Thank you for reading and remember… utinni!

  1. I have a MINOR bias against the Lego games as they have too kiddie a feel to them. This one does sound promising though; like they’ve reached further than with past games.

As for the lack of news, I suspect they’re just trying to build anticipation and excitement via they mystery.

    1. Mmm I totally feel you on that. I never played TCW so I’m giving it a shot and it’s a bit difficult to really get into bc it is so childish. I’m hoping this new open world feAtures will lend to it being more “adult” in a sense.
